Nature Walk with the Southern Herbalist, Daryl Patton
Master Herbalist Daryl Patton, the Southern Herbalist, will guide us on a walk on the grounds of Wild Hydrangea, an intentional community nestled in a bend of the Locust Fork River. Daryl will identify edible and medicinal plants and fungi, answer questions, and teach about the traditional edible and medicinal uses of many of the indigenous plants.
We will take a maximum of 20 participants. All are invited to join in for a simple vegetarian lunch after the walk, incorporating items will harvested and cultivated from the land. An additional $5 will cover the cost of the meal.
The walk will not be strenuous and is suitable for all ages.
