A 2 hour Restorative Yoga Workshop for birth and postpartum care givers in Huntsville, Alabama.
Participants this may appeal to are birth doulas, abortion doulas, lactation consultants, L&D nurses, midwives and OBs, perinatal mental health advocates and perinatal therapists.
The practice tends to daily stress, poor sleep, physical tension and mental strain and is a wonderful way to practice yoga with minimal physical exertion.
This class is open to all genders and physical abilities.

About this Restorative Yoga practice:
Restorative yoga is a deeply soothing inward form of yoga where the body is placed in relaxing postures that are supported with soft bolsters, blocks and blankets while the mind is invited to slow down. Physical tension and energetic knots soften with each gentle pose. This is a class aimed at building layers of rest, relaxation and connection to one's self and giving each person the tools to integrate this practice at home or at work.
Gentle verbal guidance for breath and mindfulness deepen the relaxation response. Poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.
