Grace happens when we act with others on behalf of our world.

GRoup Workshops/Staff DevelopmentIn addition to workshops we offer on the land, we also can work with you to create a workshop or experience for your staff, board, or circle of friends. Our workshops build camaraderie, promote joy, and nourish relationships. We believe that the work of intentionally connecting to people you care about builds a healthy foundation for facing the world together.
Group workshops can happen on our land, in your space, or in other locations like parks or campgrounds. We also lead workshops at conferences, festivals, and forums. Email us to learn more about creating a workshop. |
RitualsWe believe in the magic and meaning of gathering in circles, offering blessings, group singing, candle lighting, and more. We would love to help you create a meaningful ritual to mark an important moment in your life. We have experience with weddings, baptisms, cronings, funerals, memorials, mama-blessings, rituals of grieving, and more.
Lindsey is licensed to officiate weddings (and especially loves officiating queer unions!) |
The enneagram is a tool for learning about yourself and the people around you. It's most simply described as a personality typing system, with nine personality types formed out of our unconscious motivations. This typing system isn't perfect (of course not!); it gives us a language for understanding and expressing who we are, and context for imagining how other people see the world differently. At its best, this tool leads us to compassion for others, and a deep tenderness for ourselves.
Lindsey is an experienced teacher of the enneagram. She is available for staff or volunteer development workshops, Sunday School classes, or for creating a workshop with you. Email Lindsey to learn more. |
"The central purpose of the Work that Reconnects is to help people uncover and experience their innate connections with each other and with the systemic, self-healing powers of the web of life, so that they may be enlivened and motivated to play their part in creating a sustainable civilization."
- Joanna Macy
The Work That Reconnects is theoretical framework for personal and social change, as well as a powerful workshop methodology for its application. Its first teacher is Joanna Macy; Joanna is a scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory, and deep ecology.
The Work that Reconnects rests on the contextual understanding that our current society is based on industrial growth; in order to survive in the world we must become a Life Sustaining Society. Work that Reconnects workshops open up possibilites for how we can make this shift together. |
“The refusal to feel takes a heavy toll. Not only is there an impoverishment of our emotional and sensory life, flowers are dimmer and less fragrant, our loves less ecstatic but this psychic numbing also impedes our capacity to process and respond to information. The energy expended in pushing down despair is diverted from more creative uses, depleting the resilience and imagination needed for fresh visions and strategies.” - Joanna Macy
